You don't need a touchscreen to get the most out of Windows 8. This video shows how a multi-touch touchpad on your laptop can utilise gestures to access a host of convenient shortcuts. Here's how to use touchpad gestures in Windows 8.

Contrary to popular belief, Windows 8 doesn't require a touchscreen to be used to its fullest potential. In fact, using traditional mouse and keyboard works just fine. But PC and laptop makers are making a host of different types of computer to use with Windows 8, utilising a variety of different input methods.

Here we look at trackpad gestures with Windows 8, using a laptop's touchpad to swipe and pinch our way around the operating system. We show off a variety of different gestures, which used together will make your PC fly. Here then, is how to use gestures with a Windows 8 laptop.
