Unless you intend to print huge volumes, an inkjet printer is good for the mix of photos, graphics and text that makes them the ideal choice for home and small office printing.

There are a number of factors to take into account when choosing your printer; connectivity for one, Wi-fi is now pretty much the norm, but Cloud print including Email Print for smartphones and tablets will future proof your purchase for the next few years. For photo printing we recommend dual paper trays and memory card slots, And for office printing a duplexer for double side printing and document feeder are essential.

But remember, the price you pay to buy a printer will often represent only a small proportion of the total cost of ownership. So, be sure to check both the cost and page yield of replacement inks.

When comparing brands, don’t always shop purely on the price of the printer. Kodak’s printers have been shown in independent test to be on average, the least expensive inkjet printers to run and they feature the lowest ink replacement costs compared to rival printers.
