On the heels of Microsoft’s public preview of Windows 8, the company’s released a beta version of its Windows Server 8 operating system. It will allow administrators to test and offer feedback as Microsoft finalizes the software for release.

In the continuing saga, Apple has won an injunction potentially requiring Motorola Mobility to recall infringing smartphones in the two companies’ ongoing patent battle in Germany.
