Lenovo’s ThinkPad tablet will get upgraded to Android 4.0 in May

Google is ready to lay fiber cables in its pilot for super fast internet in Kansas City, Kansas.

In its latest move Sony will merge its PlayStation platform into its broader services and products, a shift that incoming CEO Kaz Hirai has said is crucial to its strategy. It will be rebranded as the Sony Entertainment Network.

Lenovo’s ThinkPad tablet will get an upgrade to Android 4.0 or Ice Cream Sandwich starting in may. The new OS has a faster browser, and voice and face recognition. It currently runs Android 3.1 and sells for 479 dollars.

Fisker Automotive, maker of the plug in Karma sports car has stopped work on a plant in Delaware after the US Dept of Energy blocked its loans, citing unmet milestones. The Karma sells for more than 100,000 dollars.

Google is ready to lay thousands of miles of fiber cables in Kansas City, Kansas, the city the company chose as a pilot for super fast Internet. Google’s been surveying and planning for about a year. Speeds will be about 100 times faster than what most Americans have today.
