The best accessories for laptops and tablets

PC Advisor reviews the best laptop/tablet accessories for your laptop or tablet PC.

5. iPad Jacket

iPad Jacket
  • Reviewed on: 20 September 10
  • RRP: £24.95
  • Rating: Rated 9 out of 10

The STM jacket iPad succeeds at its goal of iPad-carrying minimalism. Good build quality at a reasonable price make this a solid choice if you don't need to carry many extras. It’s also a much better protective sleeve than Apple’s iPad case for carrying in another bag.

4. UpStand

UpStand
  • Reviewed on: 3 August 10
  • RRP: £39.95
  • Rating: Rated 8 out of 10

The Just Mobile UpStand is a lightweight iPad stand that beats Apple’s own by being simpler and therefore more flexible in rotation modes. You might think you don’t need a stand for your iPad but once you start using one it just makes sense not to have to hold it in your hands or on your lap all the time.

3. IGo Bluetooth Keyboard for iPad

  • Rating: Rated 8 out of 10

Robust and portable, versatile and easy to use, the iGo Bluetooth Keypad for iPad is priced to shift. We just wish its name reflected its versatility.

2. Innergie mCube Pro

Innergie mCube Pro
  • Reviewed on: 31 August 10
  • RRP: £90
  • Rating: Rated 8 out of 10

With a solid build in a small package, the mCube Pro is bound to come in handy for the technology enthusiast who regularly carries a range of gadgets. Power adaptors are available for less, but if you value great-looking design, the mCube Pro could be the perfect travel companion.

1. Keyboard Folio

Keyboard Folio
  • Reviewed on: 26 January 11
  • RRP: £124.95 inc. VAT
  • Rating: Rated 8 out of 10

At £125 the Sena Keyboard Folio isn’t a cheap iPad case option, but it does include the Bluetooth keyboard in the £70 leather Folio case design. So you’re paying £55 for the additional keyboard integration – fractionally less than you’d pay for one of the Apple iPad keyboard options. The Sena Keyboard Folio is a smart and neat option for the iPad super user who needs the iPad to work more like a laptop on occasion, and the designer looks of the luxury case are hard to beat.
