The Canon i-SENSYS MF8380Cdw does just about everything well; and though its control panel and printer driver could be less clunky, this unit belongs on your small office's short list of colour laser MFPs.

The Canon i-SENSYS LBP-7010C printer is very much a no-frills model to look at. However, if you can ignore the lack of facilities then you may find that it offers strong capabilities exactly where they’re needed. Print quality is impressive, and the price tag is low. Only the running costs prevent this from making a bigger splash, so keep an eye on our charts section to see if we have cause to revise this opinion as the toner becomes more freely available.

The HP LaserJet Pro 400 Color M451nw is a well-specified workgroup printer that produces strong and fast output. If your main priority is text, it'll prove a good choice - but if colour printing is more your bag, look to the Epson WorkForce Pro WP-4535 DWF.
