Group test: What's the best 19 to 24-inch LCD monitor?
The Top 5 sub-24in flat-panel displays you can buy
By PC Advisor staff | PC Advisor | 31 October 12
5. Philips 248X3LFHSB/00
- Reviewed on: 30 May 12
- RRP: £220 inc. VAT
- Rating:

The Philips 248X3LFHSB/00 is a good-looking monitor rendered all the more interesting by its blue illuminated Lightframe bezel. Designed to reduce eye-fatigue and stress, we found this feature actually works as described, making the display very relaxing to use. However, at £220, the price is considerably higher than that of the average 24in display – especially when you can find superior performance IPS displays for less than £150.
4. ViewSonic VP2765-LED
- Reviewed on: 9 February 12
- RRP: £350 inc. VAT
- Rating:

The ViewSonic VP2765-LED's image quality isn’t bad for a professional-grade monitor, but there are better and cheaper options available.
3. NEC MultiSync EA232WMi
- Reviewed on: 21 December 10
- RRP: £239.96 inc VAT
- Rating:

The NEC MultiSync EA232WMi certainly isn't as cheap as budget TN panels. But from its depth of colour and versatility of image, down to the functional design and the wealth of features and tools, this is an excellent screen for professionals and up-market home users. Avid gamers, though, might want to try before they buy.
2. Philips Brilliance 241P4QPYES
- Reviewed on: 8 February 12
- RRP: £220 inc. VAT
- Rating:

The Philips Brilliance 241P4QPYES is 24in display that offers brilliant quality at a budget price. Read our review to find out more.
1. ViewSonic VP2365-LED
- Reviewed on: 1 September 11
- RRP: £202 inc. VAT
- Rating:

If you're into photography, video or graphic arts, then the 23in ViewSonic VP2365-LED will provide a huge improvement over a TN-based display at a very reasonable price. However, multimedia fans might bemoan the lack of speakers or HDMI connectivity.
