Available in a range of colours the smart-looking IDAPT i4 is a neat solution to the increasingly messy mobile-device charging jumble of cables. Go for the Custom 4-tip configuration if you want to ensure you have all the correct charging options for your own digital devices.
3. IGo Bluetooth Keyboard for iPad

Robust and portable, versatile and easy to use, the iGo Bluetooth Keypad for iPad is priced to shift. We just wish its name reflected its versatility.
2. Apple iPad Smart Cover
- Reviewed on: 10 March 11
- RRP: $39 (£24) for polyurethane version; $69 (£43) for leather; UK price TBC
- Rating:

I spent a week with a leather iPad Smart Cover and found it to be a nice companion product, though it took a little getting used to. It adds far less bulk than any iPad case I’ve previously used, and it also gave my fingers something else to hold on to when holding the iPad 2 in one hand. I’m sure there will be a strong market for third-party iPad 2 cases - iPad cases are already being designed that mimic this magnetised design, and many people will want a case that covers the iPad’s back half. But once again, Apple has set a high bar for third-party accessories. Cheap cases that are rushed to market in order to cash in on the iPad 2 product launch will find a hard time of it thanks to the presence of the Smart Cover.
1. Line 6 POD Studio UX2
- Reviewed on: 1 March 11
- RRP: £159 inc VAT
- Rating:

First time around, it’ll take you a little while to get going. Plug and play the Line 6 POD Studio UX2 certainly isn’t. But, if you’re a musician keen to use your PC for guitar, bass and vocal recording, the UX2 makes a great choice for the price.
