The best GPS/satnav devices you can buy

5. TomTom Go 750 Live
- Reviewed on: 21 January 10
- RRP: £229 inc VAT
- Rating:

The minimal revisions made to TomTom's x50 line-up reflect the fact that this satnav ticks boxes across the board. But we resent paying more for the very features that form the 'Live' part of the TomTom Go 750 Live's moniker.
4. Garmin Nuvi 265WT
- Reviewed on: 24 January 11
- RRP: £149 inc. VAT
- Rating:

If you want an affordable 4.3-inch GPS device with the friendly Garmin navigation experience, it's hard to miss with the Garmin Nuvi 265WT. It doesn't bring much new to the genre, but it remains one of our favourites.
3. Garmin Nuvi 1260T
- Reviewed on: 24 January 11
- RRP: £170 inc. VAT
- Rating:

If you're looking specifically for a 3.5in navigation device with a Bluetooth phone interface, the Garmin Nuvi 1260T is a good choice. If, however, Bluetooth isn't your main focus, there are better-value alternatives available elsewhere.
2. Garmin nuvi 3790T
- Reviewed on: 13 July 10
- RRP: £319 inc. VAT
- Rating:

The Garmin nuvi 3790T is drop-dead gorgeous. If you're willing to pay its premium price you'll get a navigation device that not only looks good, but offers excellent build quality, a great screen and what we think is the best overall navigational experience of any GPS unit on the market.
1. TomTom GO Live 1000
- Reviewed on: 19 November 10
- RRP: £250.13 inc VAT
- Rating:

The TomTom GO Live 1000 is one of the best-equipped GPS navigation devices on the market, making it ideal for those who use a sat nav every day. Less frequent users will get better value out of cheaper units, but the GO 1000 is slick, functional and very well designed, making it a highly recommended purchase.
