The Eclipse Solar i5357N66Ti is an undeniably fast PC, but also very expensive. If you're prepared to pay the extra, you'll get a considerable boost in gaming performance and also the possibility to overclock the system. However, we suspect many family users may prefer to spend their budget on more relevant features such as a card reader or Wi-Fi.

The PC Specialist Vanquish HD-660 is a very powerful system, delivering high overall benchmark results and good frame rates in our gaming tests. It's housed in an attractive and practical system case and comes with an excellent monitor. It's not cheap, however.

The Chillblast Fusion Lynx is a well-balanced system with good overall performance and enough graphics power for a bit of low-level gaming. It comes with an excellent monitor, plenty of RAM and a roomy 120GB SSD while the system case is one of the best at this price point.
