Proporta Neoprene 10in Sleeve review

Manufacturer: Proporta

Our Rating: We rate this 3.5 out of 5

Neoprene sleeve for 10in tablet PCs and netbooks, dual zip, memory foam and velour inner.

The Proporta 10in Neoprene sleeve is designed to help protect any 10in tablet PC. We trialled the sleeve with a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and found the case, which measures 290x195x25mm, easily accommodated our Google Android device. However, as the sleeve is initially designed to hold netbooks, the fit was not as snug as that offered by some cases dedicated for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.

The sleek black sleeve, which is finished by a neon green strip offering a slight departure from the more business-like look, comprises of a neoprene outer and a layer of memory foam, which Proporta says will protect a device from knocks and bumps while adding very little bulk.

The dual zip at the top of the case was robust and held up when we handled it quite roughly, and it also ensured the tablet PC remained free from dust.

We also loved the velour interior also ensures that neither the delicate touchscreen nor the white back of our Galaxy Tab got damaged.

While the Proporta Neoprene sleeve isn’t specifically designed for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (or any other tablet PC for that matter) it does a sterling job of protecting our device and with a price tag of £14.50, we can’t complain.
