For an intriguing combination of image-editing and organising software, plus a web service for sharing your images, Sharpcast Photos is the ticket. However, what makes Sharpcast Photos really special is the way it automatically updates your data wherever you access it. This means that any change you make to a photo collection gets shared among the various PCs and mobile devices you use to access your account. However, its photo-editing and organisational tools are a touch limited.
Once the final version is released, there should be two different versions - one that'll offer enhanced facilities in return for a fee, plus a free edition. However, you can sign up online and try out the beta for free, receiving 5GB of online storage space in the process. Organise your photos into albums and share them with friends, while Sharpcast handles the basic editing tasks such as cropping and red-eye reduction.
Changes you make to your photo collection - either via the web service or via the desktop or mobile software - get shared all over. When we rotated a photo through the web service, the resulting change appeared on our desktop PC and laptop even before it showed up in our browser.
