STM Scout laptop bag review

£44.95

Manufacturer: STM

Our Rating: We rate this 3.5 out of 5

Laptop shoulder bag for that army surplus look.

STM's Scout small laptop shoulder bag isn’t your run-of-the-mill business person’s laptop case.

For starters it’s a kind of Dad’s Army-style olive green – you can almost imagine Private Godfrey carrying it for his medical supplies and slices of his sister Dolly’s Upside Down cake.

There’s also an Ochre-coloured bag that is more desert rat than Warmington–on-Sea.

While it has that army surplus or eco-friendly look it’s a sophisticated carrier that includes high-density cushioned felt-lined padding that surrounds and protects the laptop from bumps and scrapes.

There’s a secure buckle closure for main bag, and a velcro closure over the laptop section.

There’s plenty of utility pockets for the expected tech accessories and other junk you need to carry around with you – as well as a full-sized document pocket.

The £44.95 bag holds most 13in laptops; the £49.95 bag holds 15in laptops.
