Open University Online review

Manufacturer: Open University

The Open University website offers access to a vast library of learning materials.

The Open University website offers access to a vast library of learning materials. It was recommended to us by PC Advisor reader 'bluesbrother'.

"For a more structured approach, how about the Open University?" writes bluesbrother. "I hope to retire soon and I'd like to catch up on some missed education. For that, the Open University appeals to me."

The institution's free OpenLearn service offers various learning materials, such as podcasts, videos and games. You simply need to sign up for an account. But most of the website is open access and you don't need to sign in or sign up for an expensive course.
