PC Advisor reader bristolsteve1 recommended Beer In The Evening as his favourite entertainment website. Here's our review of beerintheevening.com.
"This is a great website for finding pubs, with an easy and comprehensive filter so you can quickly find suitable establishments - or pub crawls - wherever you are visiting," enthuses bristolsteve1.
"Absolutely, hic, superb!"
While it offers the same service – helping you find a decent pub – this site takes a different approach to Fancy A Pint?, offering plentiful user reviews rather than a single professional write-up. The editorial tone is also inevitably a little different; clearly this varies depending on the user, but there seems to be more sympathy for urban wine bars and other youthful venues.
The critical ability to search by postcode allows Beer In The Evening to pip Fancy A Pint? and win this month's Recommended rosette.
