The Dell UltraSharp 1908WFP is a stylish monitor with the tilt, swivel, and height adjustments usually found in bigger LCDs, but its performance is lacklustre.
The Dell UltraSharp 1908WFP's thin bezel, high-quality plastics, and judiciously applied silver accents produce a modern and striking design.
It has good movie-playback capabilities. In a screening of 'Lord of the Rings: Return of the King', the Dell UltraSharp 1908WFP displayed good contrast, as well as superb reds, blues, and greens. The video, however, appeared grainier than in many other monitors we've tested. The actors' skin tones came out convincingly natural and gold and copper tones in a fall scene were brilliant.

Star Rating:
Duration of ownership: 30 days
Strengths:
I think the contrast and brightness is exceptional. The colors are sharp and crisp. The adjustment features of this monitor are impressive and easy to manage. Very pleased and impressed
Weaknesses:
At the 1200 x 1024 resolution at 75hrz the images are distorted and fatter than normal. Set the resolution at 1440 x 900 at 75hrz and the images are perfectly fine. Thats the only weakness I can see
Overall Evaluation:
I've used 17 and 15" monitors and I suppose you can pay a great deal for one with unbelievable specs, but at this price i.e. less than $300, it is a pleasure to use and I have yet to have a monitor that has the visuals of this one for the price. Great adjustments for color, temp, DVI, VGA and height and pitch adjustments too. This is a treat for for the home enthusiast. highly recommended!
