The Scosche FlipSync solves the problem of cable clutter for Apple iPhone users by combining the standard Apple USB 2.0 Charge and Sync Cable with a car alarm fob-sized case that sits on a keyring.

We've seen a smartphone revolution over the past few years, with many people now just as likely to browse the internet, send emails, take photographs or play games on a mobile phone as they are on a laptop, digital camera or games console.

But a powerful smartphone puts great demands on its battery, and many of today's best-of-breed handsets barely last a day before needing a recharge. Fearful of being caught short with a dwindling battery life, many of us either keep separate chargers in the home and office, or try to remember to take one with us each day, safely tucking it away in a bag.

Scosche solves this problem for iPhone users by combining the standard Apple USB 2.0 Charge and Sync Cable with a car alarm fob-sized case that's designed to sit on a keyring. The Scosche FlipSync houses a USB and Dock Connector in a small plastic enclosure, with both cables easily accessible when you need them, and able to be nicely folded away when not.

The FlipSync, which measures just 5cm, works with all versions of the iPhone and iPod.
