Manufacturer: Samsung

The all-in-one entry to Samsung's Ativ PC line-up is the Ativ One 5 Style (strange name we know). Read our Samsung Ativ One 5 Style hands-on review for more information.

The all-in-one entry to Samsung's Ativ PC line-up is the Ativ One 5 Style (strange name we know). Read our Samsung Ativ One 5 Style hands-on review for more information.

The Ativ One 5 Style is modeled on Samsung's Galaxy range of smartphones and tablets and it's clear to see with the white glossy finish and shiny chrome edge. It's got a 24.5mm bezel and a 4.5mm edge.

This 21.5in touchscreen desktop PC has a Full HD (1920x1080) resolution but an unfortunate glossy reflective finish. It's powered by an AMD A6 quad-core processor with shared graphics and 4GB of RAM. It seemed nippy enough during our hands-on time with it running Windows 8.

Samsung said you'll be able to buy it with up to a 1TB hard drive and the PC comes with a built-in 720p webcam for those video chats.

Connectivity includes two USB3.0, two USB2.0, HDMI in and out, RJ45 (via a dongle) and a card reader. There's also a model an aerial socket you can watch and record HD TV and there's also Bluetooth so you can use it as a speaker for your smartphone or tablet.

Samsung said: "With HomeSync Lite you can also back-up, manage and access content via your smartphone as well as privately manage individual accounts, making it a hub for the entire family."

It also has SideSync pre-loaded so you can tether a smartphone or tablet to it as a second screen or perform tasks like backing up photos.

There's no battery so you can't take it round the house with you like the Sony VAIO Tap 20 and Dell XPS 18. Nevertheless, it's a nice all-in-one PC on first impressions.

Like the rest of Samsung's Ativ range, we've got no pricing details or a specific release date beyond 'later this year'.

There are currently no technical specifications recorded for this product.

The Samsung Ativ One 5 Style has a reasonable specification and we like the inclusion of a TV receiver and record function, but we'd rather have a matte finish screen. We'll bring you a full review soon.
