The CyberPower Gamer Infinity Quad Elite is one of the most impressive-looking PCs we’ve seen in some time. Its limited-edition Hiper Anubis case looks like the inside of a massive processor cooler. Indeed, the case is itself a heatsink, with its black colouring and deep ridges helping to dissipate heat quickly.

But there’s more to the CyberPower Gamer Infinity Quad Elite than meets the eye: this PC is designed to be pushed to the limit. Fitted with a 2.83GHz Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550, it makes use of CyberPower’s overclocking know-how to achieve stable performance at 3.63GHz. In this configuration it achieves a superb WorldBench 6 result of 133 points, compared with 114 at its default settings.

The CyberPower Gamer Infinity Quad Elite's ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2 graphics card delivers strong performance by itself; when coupled with the overclocked processor, the resulting gameplay is highly impressive even at higher resolutions. Asus’s P5Q motherboard makes it possible to add a second graphics card later on; it also supports Express Gate, allowing access to basic functions without booting up Windows.

CyberPower has opted for a 22in ViewSonic monitor, which has a sleek, glossy black finish and a built-in webcam. As good as this screen is, you might expect a 24in display at this price point. The CyberPower Gamer Infinity Quad Elite also lacks a Blu-ray drive.
