Based on a 3.3GHz Intel Sandy Bridge processor, Arbico’s i5-2568 Pro HD is a strong performer. With a WorldBench 6 score of 159 points, it’s one of the fastest PCs we’ve ever tested at this price.

The PC comes with a standard 4GB of DDR3 system memory and a 1TB hard drive. The Arbico i5-2568 Pro HD's motherboard is one of the better H67-chipset-based models available, offering a graphical extensible firmware interface (EFI) Bios interface and support for USB 3.0 and 6 gigabits per second (Gbps) SATA.

An ATI Radeon HD 6850 graphics card delivers very good framerates, with the latest games titles smoothly displayed on the Arbico i5-2568 Pro HD desktop PC's 23.6in AOC monitor. This screen offers VGA and DVI connections, plus a USB port. It’s coupled with a pair of external stereo speakers and a bass-enhancing subwoofer.

The Gigabyte GZ-X6 is a smart but basic PC case. It’s fitted with pair of fans, but no mounting points are available for adding more. The hard drive and DVD burner come screwed-in, but the remaining bays have tool-free locks for easy upgrading. Also inside is a 500W power supply; it’s less powerful than the competition, but more than adequate for the Arbico i5-2568 Pro HD's specification.

Unfortunately for Arbico, the i5-2568 Pro HD is up against some very strong competition in the form of the Palicomp. Unlike that PC, the Arbico’s Core i5-2500 processor isn’t multiplier-unlocked, and it has an inferior motherboard and a less powerful Radeon HD 6850 graphics card.
