Irritating cables are a thing of the past thanks to the Kensington Ci70 LE Wireless Mouse.

The Kensington Ci70 LE Wireless Mouse's thin burgundy styling looks sleek, and the glossy plastic material feels rather more substantial than that of some of the PC peripharels we've reviewed.

The golden, circular design on the lower half of the Kensington Ci70 LE Wireless Mouse's body is attractive and subtle. As well as looking appealing, the Kensington Ci70 LE Wireless Mouse is highly responsive and ergonomically designed for comfortable operation.

It's simple to set up, as you just pop the batteries in, remove the USB key from the handy compartment, and plug the Kensington Ci70 LE Wireless Mouse into your PC. This housing for the USB also means there is no fear of losing the key when the mouse isn’t in use.

Additional features of the Kensington Ci70 LE Wireless Mouse include the ability to conserve power by entering an automatic sleep state, and a scroll wheel with an indicator that shows when battery life is running low.

The gripe we have is that, at just under £30 the Kensington Ci70 LE Wireless Mouse is a little expensive even for a wireless mouse. Especially given that some manufacturers are selling them for under £10. However, for a mouse as attractive and well-featured as this, the well-heeled may certainly feel it worth forking out the extra.

The Kensington Ci70 LE Wireless Mouse is a slim, stylish and user friendly mouse that is ready to use in seconds. Designed with convenience in mind, the mouse features housing for the USB key in the underside of the mouse, low battery indicator incorporated into the scroll wheel and automatic sleep sensor when not in use. It not cheap, but if you want style, you have to pay the price.
