The Ministry of Sound, the dance label and legendary London nightclub, recently expanded its range of accessories with the MOS 003 earbuds.

The MOS 003 earbuds come in stylish and funky packaging that sees the 1.3m cable coiled round to look like a vinyl record, which is clearly designed to appeal to young, style-conscious clubber types. The buds themselves certainly look sleek thanks to the shiny chrome-coloured aluminium housing (they also come in black or gunmetal), which is complemented by the black rubber covers and black cable. But are the earbuds all style and no substance?

Thankfully, that's not the case. The tiny pinch-back earbuds, which come with a gold-plated 3.5mm connector, barely protruded from our ear canal but they certainly pack a punch with 9mm audio drivers. When using the earphones, the bass was clear and not distorted.

Headphones reviews

We found the MOS 003 earbuds very comfortable to wear, as they come supplied with three different-sized rubber covers, ensuring every user will get a perfect fit in their ear canal. The earbuds come with a gold-plated 3.5mm connector.

We also found it difficult to make the rubberised flat cable tangle up when transporting the earbuds in a bag or pocket.
