Its simply a case of knowing if someone had been a bit creative with a username. EG it might fool some people if a user registered the name PCAForumEditor (not that such a name would last very long, no names mentioned etc). WTM

Perhaps as the title states 'How do you choose a security suite?'. I usually choose by word of mouth and other peoples findings. But in the main the well known Avast, Avg etc are the first selection, possible because of ease of use,reliable updating and free of charge. Being a 'see if I can break it' person, I also tend to try other products, especially some beta versions. At present on test is IObit Security 360, which beta version product.

PCAPollAdvisor is an official PC Advisor username. We added a new feature to the site last week so that every time we put a new poll online, a forum thread is created in Speakers' Corner. We hope this will provide an obvious place discuss the poll results etc. Perhaps the user name isn't clear though. We'll have a look at alternatives. Paul Trotter, PCA

is PCAPollAdvisor actually connected in any official way to the PCA website or magazine, or is he/she simply an average user? WTM

"How do you choose between the various PC security software brands?" On My computer the poll question is "How do you choose between the various security suites when looking to protect your primary home PC?:" That's why I've taken it to be about suites.
