This mobile CCTV initiative is certain to be the straw that breaks the camel's back in terms of tech hatred. Expect a new Luddite revolution as the public rebels against its natural enemies.
Did you know that traffic wardens can now also issue fixed penalties for anti-social behaviour, such as littering, flyposting, graffiti and allowing dogs to poo on the pavement?
I thought that's what the police are for. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for flogging people who do all the above. But surely a PC with a PC in his pocket is better than a traffic warden with a wobbly webcam stuck to his head.
