Researchers at the University of Electro-Communications say they've developed a prototype wheelchair that responds to brainwave patterns.

The system employs a skull cap rigged with sensors that 'read' your brainwaves. Think 'left' and you'll probably go left. Think 'right' and you'll probably go right. At the moment, the Think-o-Charismatic, or whatever it's called, gets it right about 80 percent of the time. Which means you'll have about five minutes before you end up under that bus or down that flight of stairs.
