Ricky Gervais podcast no longer free

After 12 episodes and three million downloads, the Ricky Gervais podcast on the Guardian has come to an end. But fear not; it's soon to be replaced by the Ricky Gervais podcast on Audible at the end of the month. The only difference is that you'll have to pay for it this time.

"Steve and Karl wanted to charge for the podcast. Just a pound, they said. I said no," Gervais told Chortle.

"We've had nearly three million downloads so far. It's difficult doing a show with two people who won't talk to me now."

Will be interesting to see how many people are willing to part with cash for it.
