Calacanis *not* a sellout

Jason Calacanis may have pocketed a few million dollars from the sale of Weblogs Inc to AOL, but he's not running off with the cash, he's going to stay at AOL. No, sorry, he *wants* to stay at AOL.

Talking about the money, arch-nemesis Nick Denton has dug up a post he made back in May last year, about Calacanis taking the money.

For jealous-types, Blogebrity has a run down of the spoils of the deal. By the look of things, Peter Rojas - co-founder of Engadget - seems to have come out of it the best, getting both money and retaining credibility.
