Sidebar sneaks out

Turns out the release of Vista that was given out at Microsoft's PDC (Professional Developer Conference) early last month didn't include the Sidebar feature we wrote about here.

That hasn't stopped some pesky individuals copying it off display machines and leaking it onto the internet. All for naught, says Microsoft, since any gadgets developed for this version won't be compatible with future releases.
