Humble THQ Bundle is ready to shut up and take your money

The folks and THQ and Humble Bundle have gone overboard, offering some AAA titles for whatever you want to pay.

The people over at Humble Bundle are the good Samaritans of the gaming world, providing amazing pay-what-you-want deals for amazing games to support amazing causes. But they may have gone too far with the Humble THQ Bundle.

While they usually provide a great package of indie games that help shed some light on smaller developers while collecting money for charities, this time they have teamed up with big-time game developer THQ to provide some of their best titles for whatever you're willing to fork over.

The games available are Darksiders, Metro 2033, Red Faction Armageddon, Company of Heroes and their stand alone expansions Opposing Fronts and Tales of Valor. If you pay more than the average (you should) you will get the wacky, zany, amazingly fun and offensive Saints Row: The Third. Along with the games you'll get the soundtracks from Saints Row The Third, Darksiders, Red Faction Armageddon and Company of Heroes.

All these games are for Windows only and must be redeemed through Steam. Unfortunately, if you own any of the games already, you won't be able to redeem an extra one to give away. However, even if you are missing one or two of the titles featured, or you don't have it on Steam and can't find those archaic discs, it's worth picking up.

The charities supported this time is the always popular Child's Play that provides games and game systems to sick children in hospitals. The other is the American Red Cross which is always in need especially after disasters like Hurricane Sandy.

There's just over 13 days left to jump on this deal and the average purchase is hovering around $5.20 as of this writing. It's only been available a few hours now and there are already over 30,000 purchases that raised over $175,000. To give you a better idea of how fast this fundraising effort is going, by the time I finished writing that last sentence the THQ Humble Bundle made over $5,000. This deal is nuts.
