Scissor Sisters polish their Halo 3

The worlds of music and Xbox gaming will collide next Wednesday, in a specially arranged Xbox 360 mass Halo 3 online event. A group of effete, sexually ambiguous disco dancers will take on the Scissor Sisters (did that joke work?).

According to sixth-formers' favourite The NME, the 1970s pastiche supergroup contains among its glittery ranks two enthusiastic Xbox gamers: Jake (the singer) and Babydaddy (we don't know). They will be participating in the Game with Fame Xbox 360 online event, which will involve the new game Halo 3 and probably lots of falsetto singing.

So, if you want to be one of the six million gamers to 'frag' a Scissor Sister, you know where to go. That's right, here.

Interestingly enough, the band have displayed their gaming-related credentials before, by releasing a Halo remix of one of their funny songs. Whether this is better or worse than a normal Scissor Sisters single is impossible for us to say.
