'No more food processors'…

…is not a phrase I use often. But today, surrounded by wrapping paper and kitchenware, it seems apposite. All my meals will now be pre-digested. And what I really wanted was a dozen sat-nav systems… (Still, anything's better than the year everyone bought me copies of Eats, Shoots and Leaves.)

Did anyone get something really nifty for Chrimbo? Let us know if you're particularly impressed with a product, a toy or even a vendor. 'Tis the season for a heart-warming tale of IT joy.

But, of course, it's the bad stuff we really enjoy. Any subtle techno hints go disastrously awry? (I know of someone who once asked for a graphics card and received a not unlikely sounding sound card - his poor, poor mother).
