Marketing hype for the new James Bond movie, Casino Royale, is ramping up. Audio book seller Audible.co.uk is pushing its range of original James Bond novels, read by suave actor Rufus Sewell.
As you’ve probably gathered from the current brou haha, if you didn’t already know, the new flick is a remake of Ian Fleming’s original spy novel, published in 1953, whereas more recent James Bond’s have been based on Fleming’s tales.
Audible, quite rightly, thinks the time is right to dust off and rediscover both Casino Royale and the other 13 of Fleming’s James Bond novels. Available as downloads from www.audible.co.uk/bond, they are currently being offered at a knockdown price of £5.60 each or £15 for a set of three. They can then be enjoyed at your leisure either on your PC or on an MP3 player – Audible says its service is supported by more than 220 different media players.
Casino Royale, the reason for all this kerfuffle, will continue to cost the standard asking price of £6.99.
