Opinion: Lion Tweaks 1.3 lets you tweak hidden Lion settings
As impressive as many of the features of Lion (Mac OS X 10.7) may be, the new OS is not without its flaws. And for some people, many of those flaws are little changes that, collectively, affect the overall experience of using OS X. For example, the fact that the user-level Library folder is now hidden, or that opening new windows has gained some additional--and, some feel, unnecessary--animation.

Opinion: iPhone 5 Launch Expected on October 7
More reports suggest the iPhone 5 will launch in October, with preorders beginning September 30. Backing up a report from TiPB last week, 9 to 5 Mac claims it has independently confirmed Friday, October 7, as the launch date of the iPhone 5. Unlike with the iPad 2, Apple is also rumored to take preorders with the next-generation iPhone at the end of September.

Opinion: Facebook Messenger Has Hidden Video Chat Feature
Facebook Messenger, the social network's new messaging app for iPhone and Android, may soon have a video chat component. Hackers rummaging around in the new smartphone app have discovered traces of a video chat feature that appears to be under development. The hidden service was first reported by 9-to-5 Mac and How To Arena later confirmed similar video chat remnants were in the Android version.
