Geeks abandon MacBook Air for USS Enterprise

Apple set to stun, but ...

Forget all the hoo-hah about the MacBook Air and new iPhone features at Macworld Expo. Steve Jobs could have laid out Apple's plans and product launches for the next 12 months, and he still would have been ignored as a far more geek-grabbing exclusive hit the headlines...

Macworld was quickly forgotten amid a stampede to the nearest Wi-Fi hotspot.

Yes, no sooner had the massed army of Apple and Mac fans left the Moscone Center, running for thee Apple booth to finger the world's thinnest laptop, than they were stopped in their tracks by the revelation that the first picture had been leaked of the new/old USS Enterprise from the forthcoming Star Trek movie.

Steve Jobs is good but no Apple product can steer the über-geeks from some sensational Star Trek pictures.
