Apple is reminding iTunes Match subscribers who signed up for the service a year ago, that they will soon be automatically renewing their subscriptions.

The emails tell subscribers that the automatic renewal can be turned off.

The email states: "This is just a reminder that your subscription for iTunes Match will automatically renew on [date] and you will be charged $24.99 at that time," according to Cnet.

The US users of iTunes gained the iTunes Match feature, where matches and uploads your iTunes music library to the cloud for easy access, a year ago. UK users had to wait until December before iTunes Match became available in the UK, so they can expect alerts about auto-renewals to start appearing in their inboxes around Christmas time.

New iTunes Match features are expected in iTunes 11, due to launch in November. Instant Play means that when you purchase a track from iTunes it now becomes instantly available to play (you can stream it from iTunes while it downloads).

Place Saving for Podcasts, Movies, TV Shows, Audiobooks and iTunes U lessons means that if you pause one track on a device, it's position is saved in iCloud so you can pick up on another device.
