News: Intel CEO's pay package climbs 7% to $15.7 million
Intel CEO Paul Otellini received a 7% pay bump in 2010, which marks the first year the company's revenue topped $40 billion. His total compensation climbed to $15.7 million from $14.6 million in 2009, according to SEC documents.

EMC Corp. today announced it has acquired NetWitness Corp., security company that makes the NextGen visibility monitoring system to detect electronic threats and malware-based attacks. EMC said NetWitness will operate as part of RSA.

News: O2 delays release of Sony Xperia PLAY
A Sony Ericsson spokesman last night confirmed to PC Advisor that there are problems with getting stock of the Xperia PLAY 'PlayStation phone' into UK stores. And O2 is currently refusing to stock the Xperia PLAY, instead testing the device to ensure its software is up to scratch.

RIM has finally put a date and a price to the BlackBerry Playbook tablet. It will cost $499 for the 16GB Wi-Fi version, $599 for the 32GB model and $699 for the 64GB Wi-Fi version. Best Buy is taking orders from US and Canadian customers from today with deliveries starting on 19 April.
