The new PC Advisor website launches today!

Welcome to even more Expert Advice You Can Trust

The new-look PC Advisor website launches today!

Regular visitors to PCAdvisor.co.uk may notice a few changes today. After 15 years online - having become the UK's best-read technology magazine website - we decided it was high time to launch a new PC Advisor website, with brand new sections and features, and the same great expert advice you can trust.

On the all-new PC Advisor website you can find more than 23,000 news articles, almost 6,000 products expertly reviewed and two-and-a-half thousand software downloads. We've added a dedicated How-to section, with thousands of great tips, hints and tutorials to help you fix problems and get the best from your tech. There are interesting and fun feature articles to browse, the latest opinion from industry experts and our unique New Products alert, keeping you up to date with what's new.

As well as our unrivalled Reviews centre, we're proud to unveil dedicated Test Centre and Buying Advice sections. In the Test Centre you'll find literally hundreds of constantly updated group tests, reviewing the best five products available in the UK today across all categories of consumer technology. And our Buying Advice features offer more general guidance on what specifications to look for when purchasing a product, and how to grab a bargain.

In the Videos section you'll find hundreds of video reviews, news reports and tutorials. In short, when it comes to technology, if you're looking for expert advice you can trust, you've come to the right place.

And if you want to delve a little deeper, our 15 dedicated Advisor Zones offer the latest news, reviews, How-tos, downloads, videos and forum posts across a variety of subjects ranging from PC security, to laptops, upgrades to Google Android, mobile computing to tablets, business and the Digital Home. We've even launched the UK version of GamePro - our games reviews, news and forums offering a unique focus on the people and culture of gaming.

But PC Advisor has always been about more than just our team of experts dispensing advice. You, the audience, *are* PC Advisor.

The PC Advisor Forum is Europe's largest online technology community, with more than 300,000 active users, and millions of threads and postings. Visit our Forum if you want free tech support, consumer advice, or you're just looking for engaging chat about technology - whatever your level of experience. We've added new 'Like' and 'Follow' features in the Forums to help people to socialise, as well as developing user-led meta-tagging to help you find valuable advice. And we've added a home page for all forum users packed with useful stats, so you can find your latest posts, and glory in your contribution to the community.

You can comment on all of our stories, review products next to our expert reviews, or simply share stories you like (or dislike) via Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. And, as ever, if you're viewing PC Advisor on a mobile device you'll automatically be diverted to mobile.pcadvisor.co.uk to enjoy our great content on a more suitbalble platform.

We've worked very hard to make the new PC Advisor easy to use, with simple drop-down navigtation to every page, from every page. Any bookmarks you have to the old site should still work, and our new search facility is faster and more sophisticated than ever before. But do let me know if you're having any problems. Indeed, I'd love to hear any comments and feedback you have on the new PC Advisor - positive or negative. Today is just the start of the new site, and with your help we'll be making improvements and tweaks over the coming weeks and months.

You can email me at [email protected], Tweet me @MattJEgan, or join in the discussion on the forums.

We really hope you enjoy our new site.
