Google Nexus 10 goes back on sale, again

More Nexus 10 stock arrives as Nexus devices see huge demand

Google Nexus 10 Android 4.2 Jelly Bean

Google's Nexus 10 tablet has gone back on sale at the Play Store in both models.

The Android maker's Nexus devices have been in huge demand since launching in November but have, for the most part, been out of stock. Google's iPad rival, the Nexus 10 made by Samsung, is now in stock in 16GB priced at £319 and 32GB priced at £389.

It's great news for anyone who hasn't managed to bag a Nexus 10 over the Christmas period and at the beginning of January when more stock arrived and quickly got snapped up. We have no idea how much stock there is available this time around so if you're after a Nexus 10, get an order in quickly.

At the time of writing the Google Play Store says the Jelly Bean tablets will ship in between three and five business days. The Nexus 4 remains out of stock but more is expected soon after LG said it would ramp up production in February.

A big issue with the stock shortages is the lack of any alternative retailers. The Nexus 10 is simply only available from the Play Store.

Before Christmas, Google did apologise for the shortages of its bargain-priced Nexus 4 smartphone but didn't mention the Nexus 10. Dan Cobley, managing director of Google UK & Ireland said the situation was 'unacceptable' and blamed scares supplied on the manufacturer, LG.

Users were offered a refund on shipping costs but those unable to place an order were given no estimate of when more stock would arrive.
