Google's Nexus 10 tablet has gone back on sale at the Play Store in its 16GB form.

The Android creator's latest devices have been hugely popular since launching in November but have largely been out of stock. Google's iPad rival, the Nexus 10 built by Samsung, is now in stock in 16GB priced at £319. See alsoBest place to buy Nexus 10

It's good news for anyone who failed to order a Nexus 10 in time for Christmas. At the time of writing the Google Play Store says the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean tablet will ship in less than one week. The 32GB model, priced at £399, remains out of stock.

The main issue with the stock shortages has been a complete lack of alternative retailers. The Nexus 10 is only available from the Play Store.

Before Christmas, Google apologised for the stock shortages of its under-priced Nexus 4 smartphone. Dan Cobley, managing director of Google UK & Ireland said the situation was 'unacceptable' and blamed scares supplied on the manufacturer, LG. Best smartphones of 2012

Users were offered a refund on shipping costs but those unable to place an order were given no estimate of when more stock would arrive. Both versions of the Nexus 4 are still out of stock at the time of writing, as is the 16GB Nexus 7 tablet.
