Google will reportedly launch a 32GB model of its Nexus 7 tablet.

Various rumours are suggesting that Google will release a 32GB model of its Android 4.1 Jelly BeanNexus 7 tablet. The larger capacity option will be put in the Argos Christmas gift guide which launches this week. ReadArgos confirms Google Nexus 7 32GB model.

The news comes via ITProPortal courtesy of 'someone with close links to Argos' who said the device will cost £199. This is the same price as the current 16GB model which will be replaced by the 32GB alternative.

This would make for a strange move from Google, making it a no brainer regarding whether to spend the extra to gain more storage. ITProPortal isn't sure about the info, given the question mark in its headline.

We'll have to wait and see what tips up. And the same is true for Apple's Nexus 7 rival, the iPad Mini, which is expected to be revealed on 23 October in 16 different models.
