Microsoft has announced not one but two Windows 8 tablets. Here are the specs for both of them.

As predicted Microsoft announced a new 10.6" tablet at its special press event in LA today. However what was not predicted was that Microsoft would launch two, yes two, tablets - The Surface RT and the Surface Pro. We spent some time with the Windows Surface RT, the results of which you can read in our Microsoft Surface review.
First up is the Microsoft Surface RT which, as the name suggests, comes with Windows RT the version of operating system designed specifically to run on tablets with ARM processors. The Surface RT will be the first to go on sale out of the two with its launch coinciding with Windows 8 this autumn. The Surface Pro will launch three months afterwards, presumably early in 2013. No pricing has been revealed yet.

The Microsoft Surface Pro is similar to the Surface RT but with more impressive specifications. It's essentially an Ultrabook type laptop squeezes into a tablet. It also has a 10.6in screen but with a full-HD resolution.
It is powered by a third generation Intel Ivy Bridge Core i5 processor and up to 128GB of storage. Microsoft claims it has the capability to play modern games like Diablo 3.
