T-Mobile and Orange to offer £200 iPads

Tablet PC will be subsidised by mobile broadband deal

Orange and T-Mobile have confirmed that will be offering subsidised Apple iPad on mobile broadband deals that tie users in for longer periods of time.

T-Mobile said it would "offer new purchase options for iPad users, including more affordable prices when purchased with a data service plan, for iPad with Wi-Fi + 3G models in the coming months".

However, the network has yet to reveal the price of the device or when the tablet PC will be available, it's asking users to register their interest at a dedicated web page.

Orange, which recently merged with T-Mobile, issued a similar statement just houts after T-Mobile's announcement. Although, Orange negelected to elaborate on price or availability dates as well.

It is thought the iPads will cost around £200 when purchased on a monthly mobile broadband plan with a £30 per month subscription, tied in for two years.
