Toys 'R' US to stock £90 Elonex eTouch

Tablet PC also available in 10in model for £149.99

Elonex's eTouch tablet PC, which runs Google Android, will be available through Toy 'R' Us, with the 7in version priced at just £90.

The 7in tablet will be joined by a 10in model, priced at £149.99.

The 10in eTouch is powered by a 1GHz ARM 11 processor and comes with a 2GB solid state drive, although this can be expanded with a microSD card up to 2GB in size. Users will also benefit from Google Android 21, a USB port, Wi-Fi connectivity and a headphone socket on the 695g tablet.

Meanwhile the 350g 7in eTouch features an ARM 9 processor, Android version 1.6 and Wi-Fi.

"This is yet another new, exciting and innovative product that we are confident to bring to our sales floor. It is important that Toys 'R' Us inspire this young and inspirational market offering the best affordable products on the marketplace", said Mike Coogan, marketing director at Toys 'R' Us.
