Microsoft Office 2010 has won the PC Advisor Awards 2011 award for Best Business Software.

Office 2007 saw the introduction of a new interface, which was perhaps too clever to be helpful. With Office 2010, Microsoft has tamed its context-sensitive menu system and put the user back in control. It’s also added some neat, cloud-based complementary apps for collaborative working known as Office Web Apps.

Runners up in the Best Business Software category were Corel WordPerfect Office 2010, Filemaker Pro, Intuit QuickBooks 2011, Sage Instant Accounts.
