Never one to shy away from touting positive milestones, Apple announced Monday that its OS X Mountain Lion software has topped 3 million downloads in just four days, the fastest sales start ever for one of its OS X releases.
The software, available through the Mac App Store, costs $20 as an upgrade to the year-old Lion (which was downloaded 1 million times on its first day of availability) or Snow Leopard releases.
