NTT Data Business Solutions buys Australian-based Innogence

NTT Data Business Solutions APAC has acquired Australian-based SAP partner, Innogence, for an undisclosed sum.

In a statement, NTT Data said the acquisition will create the largest SAP business analytics and database technology practice in the Asia Pacific region.

Innogence is a certified premier partner in both SAP Services and Business Objects, offering specialised consulting services in both SAP business analytics and HANA.

It was formed in 2005 by four founders, Gerrie Aldag, Ian Markram, Andrew Small and Hernus Carelsen, and employs more than 100 staff across branches in Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne and Brisbane.

NTT Data will integrate Innogence into its Australian state based delivery model under the newly formed Enterprise Information Division, headed by Phil Cameron, former CEO of Innogence.

NTT Data Business Solutions Enterprise Applications division will be led by Chris Treston, who is currently the Territory Head of Consulting - North Central West.

Innogence will retain its identity becoming a division solely focused on SAP Business Analytics and SAP Database and Technology.

In a statement NTT Data said this investment was part of its systematic growth strategy focusing on further expansion of its database, technology and business analytics portfolio.

NTT DATA Business Solutions Asia Pacific CEO, Max White, said the company has now grown to 400 staff across the APAC region and with 55 certified HANA practitioners.

"The addition of Innogence's strong Canberra based office, matched with NTT DATA Business Solutions' ERP capability allows us to provide a full SAP portfolio to large enterprise and industry located in ACT," White said.
