Creative software vendor, Adobe, has integrated its field operations across Japan and Asia-Pacific (APAC) to drive sales and support for enterprise and channel customers.

Tegel will now report to worldwide field operations senior vice-president, Matt Thompson.

"Combining our field teams in Japan and APAC will help scale our operations to meet the needs of both enterprise and channel customers across the region," Thompson said.

"Tegel has a strong track record at Adobe and deep understanding of both markets."

Before the promotion, Tegel served as Adobe Japan president since 2009. Prior to that role, he held numerous global roles for the company in APAC and northern Europe since joining Adobe in 2000.

Tegel has also worked at Sun Microsystems as Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ) marketing director.
