TfL offers congestion feeds to app and site developers ahead of London 2012 Olympic Games

Web and app developers can now get access to the 'hotspot' feed from Transport for London (TfL), which offers predictions of when the London transport network will be congested during this summer's London 2012 Olympic Games.

TfL says that the free-to-use data will help create a wide range of high quality services and applications that will support the recently launched 'Get Ahead of the Games' campaign, which explains how at certain times and certain locations during Games-time the transport network will be busier than usual. The feeds cover Tube, London Overground and Docklands Light Rail (DLR) station 'hotspot' information.

The data is available on the Developers Area of tfl.gov.uk.
