Lexmark unveils Photobucket, Picasa and MobileMe SmartSolutions

Apps let users print directly from their online storage services

Lexmark is continuing to expand its range of SmartSolutions apps compatible with its internet-connected printers.

The Photobucket, Picasa and MobileMe apps allow users to access their digital images stored in these online sites and then print them direct to their Lexmark Platinum, Pinnacle, Prestige and Interact web-connected all-in-one (AIO) printers, without the neeed for a PC.

Alternatively, users can scan images using the AIO printers and then save them to their accounts on any of the three online photo-storage sites.

The three photo-based SmartSolutions join a host of other apps designed to increase productivity and efficiency. They include offerings from Facebook, Twitter,  TripIt and Evernote, and can be downloaded now from Lexmark's dedicated web page.
