Bullguard unveils latest version of internet security software

Bullguard Internet Security 10 now uses behavioural detection

Bullguard has unveiled Bullguard Internet Security 10, the latest versions of its PC security software.

The new edition features 'behavioural detection' technology, which the security vendor says spots viruses before traditional detection methods and will catch 65 percent more malware.

Users will also benefit from the Safe Browsing feature, which flags up unsafe websites, and the Inspector that scans software on the PC and alerts the user if any of the programs are vulnerable and out-of-date.

"We've taken BullGuard to the next level, introducing technology that positions BullGuard as the end user champion in the fight for digital liberation. We continue to push the envelope to deliver advanced technology to everyday users and serve it up in a user-friendly and intuitive design," said Claus Villumsen, BullGuard's CTO.

"Behavioural detection brings our Antivirus engine to the very forefront of virus detection with radical technology and outstanding catch rates, effectively wiping the floor with the outdated, free security software, that many users rely on."

BullGuard addresses the concerns and experiences that people meet in their everyday use of the internet by focussing on technology that protects you when shopping, banking, chatting and downloading, while working to develop software that is as low maintenance as possible.

Bullguard said Internet Security 10 can be customised by the users so they can receive as many or as few pop-ups and alerts from the application as they'd like.

BullGuard Internet Security 10 is available through Bullguard's website and priced at £44.95 for a one-year licence for three PCs.
